Pon is a hydro based substrate commonly used with tropical plants. 

This substrate is made from a mix of lava, zeolite, pumice, lechuza pon and slow release fertilizer. 

• because pon comes pre fertilized, customers don’t need to worry about adding extra nutrients for the first bit of use (this lasts 6-12 months)

Pon is often used in self watering planters or in semi hydro methods. Plants like alocasias, begonias and plants that like to stay moist thrive in pon.
